Crackdown 2 is now officially backward compatible on Xbox One and is completely free on both Xbox One and Xbox 360 consoles.

Crackdown 2, a third-person open world shooter, was released back in 2010 for the Xbox 360. It’s a direct sequel to 2007’s Crackdown. The game follows the player character, known simply as Agent, as they fight to save Pacific City from unauthorized mutant experiments and a mysterious terrorist organization.
The game also has both multiplayer and co-op modes. Multiplayer mode includes a selection of fun minigames such as Rocket Tag, Vehicle Tag, Capture the Orb, Deathmatch, and Team Deathmatch. Co-op mode allows the player to team up with up to 4 friends and is similar to single player mode.
Sadly, Crackdown 2 hasn’t received the Xbox One tune-up treatment some select backward compatible games have been treated to, meaning it’ll play as nature intended it to with its original graphics and features. On the other hand, it’s free, so there’s not really anything to complain about.
